Arunima Sinha is a mountaineer and motivational speaker, and a former national-level volleyball player who turned personal tragedy into achievement. After losing her leg in a train accident, she became the world’s first female amputee to summit Mount Everest. She went on to complete the Seven Summits, scaling the highest peaks on all seven continents. Arunima has been honoured with the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award.
