Biography

Arunima Sinha is a mountaineer and motivational speaker, and a former national-level volleyball player who turned personal tragedy into achievement. After losing her leg in a train accident, she became the world’s first female amputee to summit Mount Everest. She went on to complete the Seven Summits, scaling the highest peaks on all seven continents. Her journey reflects disciplined preparation, mental resilience, and sustained goal execution under extreme conditions. Arunima has been honoured with the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award. Through her talks, she shares practical insights on perseverance, recovery after setbacks, and performance under adversity, drawing from her high-altitude expeditions and athletic background.
